There is a simple saying: “If it’s not fun, stop doing it.” But how do you know blogging is not fun when you have not come around testing it yourself? There are many ways to express the feelings, the passion and the simple need for information sharing. What better medium to use than through the new media? Write anything that you feel deeply passionate about and make the readers connect with the beauty of your writing. Make them mesmerised.
Read on to find out the top 5 tips for you to make writing fun, productive as well as creative and can be applied in your freelance writing, blogging, article writing, or even your term papers.
1. Breathe Fresh Air and Write
Most writers do not really like to hang around their homes to write. They need to be away from the confines of their home to help them think and get their ideas flowing. This method also prevents writers to procrastinate by doing other things at home like house chores, watch television, or washing dishes. All the bustling sound of people coming and going at the cafes could be the distraction writers need to help them get what was all crumpled up in their head.
2. Plan Writing Structure
Planning what to write in a structure is a systematic and effective way to make your writing fluent. Start by sorting out the topic or main points after the introduction, and work your way through the entire process without having to break a sweat. Other than not messing your head with crumpled papers, structuring can save you plenty of time from having to move the text around without success.
3. Write What Your Heart Desire
The best part in writing is always writing what your heart desire. There are sometimes that you just have to write anything especially when you need d to update your blog, or maybe you have not been out with a novel for quite some time. But still, you get to choose what topic you want to write the most at that time.
4. Go into Seclusion
Writers could not get away from the urge to disappear to the quiet and calm places when they want to write. Take me for example; I at the very least need my own quiet place in my home (I usually write on my living room sofa) without any interruptions from the people around me. This will give me more opportunity to write whatever that had been occupying my head.
5. Write Anything Interesting
Any writers would want their books, articles and blog post to be given feedback by their readers as the readers are the main reason for someone to write in the first place. Feedbacks either positive or negative will help improve the writer’s skill with the encouragement given by his or her readers.
So, what else do you think writers should do to make writing fun? One person’s tips are another person’s learning session. Give me your feedback and you might be helping me add more fun in my site. Thanks!
