Make Profit Writing For Web

I know this might sound silly, but posting an entry to advice people on writing for web when I, myself, have not been doing so must be tickling your brain. Never mind. I’ll just post this as a reminder and motivator for all existing and potential web writers, new or experienced. Many writers offer their services at very low rates, including me – there’s no denying.  Of course I had to test the market first since I am only starting my freelance business for about five short months. But since I am reaching to the half year mark and the customers have become my regular clients, I ought to change the rates of my services.

But, I do not want to talk about my services in this entry. I’d like to share a few of my readings on how to make profit writing for web. You should know by now that freelance writers can get unlimited income, literally, if they do it seriously. What do I mean by ‘unlimited’ income? Imagine this. What if you were offered a million dollars for your blog on computer gadgets and technology reviews? And what if you already have a few successful blogs in terms of page rank, traffic and sponsors? Those elements already show that you have credibility and offers will flood for that kind of sites.

Your writing skills can be made to good use to create income from web writing. You can even charge USD25-USD45 for a 200 words article or review. So, why waste the talent and deny yourself to make that sort of money day in day out? For newbie such as me, I will study how to write in many forms and not to limit my ability because web writers will be offered many jobs and not just article writing. The clients might inquire your service on copywriting, sales letter, writing ebooks as well as web content. Take baby steps and try to learn one new thing a day and get the habit of writing a useful post every day. Take action, be productive and have fun blogging for yourself. By the end of the year, you will be amazed at the progress that you have made.

And these are a few of the many methods that can be used to make profit writing for web.

    Hi There,

Very good information there, one of the best ways for newbie writers to start out is on the Warrior forum.

You would simply make a thread in the Warriors for hire section, and offer your services for free in exchange for a testimonial on your writing skills and how well you did the job for them.

If you do a good job there’s a good chance they will hire you for future work, and you would also have their contact info, so if you are running a special offer you can contact all your previous free clients and let them know.

Just thought I’d share those tips that I’ve picked up over the months, with you.

Thanks for your recent comment on my blog too btw.

    Take care,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for referring me to Warrior. As of now, I’m officially a Newbie Warrior.

And thank you for the tip, too. Giving a way free articles are not the easiest but it does pay off when the satisfied clients give good testimonials about you.

    Do drop by again, ok.

    Regards,

    Typing Maniac
